Funding and Scholarship Information

It is recommended that you apply for the FAFSA each academic year to qualify for financial aid through your school’s program. Based on the information submitted through this system, the university typically awards need-based grants, scholarships, and/or student loans from federal, state, and school funds. Note, only some of the MEAC-accredited midwifery programs accept financial aid provided through applying for the FAFSA as noted above. In addition to work study, campus job positions, and teaching assistant positions, for many of the nursing and non-nursing midwifery programs, there are additional grants and/or scholarships that you can apply for through the School of Nursing or other school funding offices. In addition to your own research for funding opportunities (such as using the websites below), always be sure to research your university’s financial services website and the school your program is under (i.e. School of Nursing) for available funding.
